On May 16 from 10:00, SĀGA Shopping Centre invites everyone to its annual Terrace opening – a dynamic, family-friendly event filled with sports, entertainment, competitions, and special highlights throughout the day. All activities are free of charge.

The day opens with the Decathlon Loyalty Run, followed by the official opening of the new promenade and beach volleyball court, expanding SĀGA’s outdoor and active leisure offerings. Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy a lively atmosphere with a volleyball tournament, wakeboarding season opening, creative workshops, contests and various activities hosted together with SĀGA stores and partners.

A special treat awaits guests from “Vesela Pani” – pancakes free of charge for the first 300 visitors who receive a coupon at the event location. In addition, a physiotherapy tent will offer professional consultations on back health, posture and physical activity.

At 5:00 PM, the highlight of the festival programm will take place – the musical dance performance “Iz zaļa zora”, featuring 60 dancers from the University of Latvia Dance Ensemble Pērle, presenting a story inspired by Latgale’s folklore. Admission to the performance is free; however, if you want to secure a seat, tickets are available via Biļešu paradīze.

The day will conclude at 8:30 PM with a live screening of the Ice Hockey World Championship match Latvia vs. Switzerland on a big screen, inviting everyone to enjoy the excitement together.

The Terrace Festival is organised by SĀGA Shopping Centre in cooperation with partners Decathlon, Vesela Pani, MyFitness, JYSK, DinoZoo, NSKing, Josera, CreaKids and others.
